Why am I so passionate about teaching preschool?
Motherhood propelled me into embracing this legacy of our beloved prophet Mohammadï·º!
Salams! I'm Ms. Madiha, and I found teaching to be my true calling as a mother when I embraced my role in the holistic upbringing 'tarbiyyah' of my son. I even went back to school and got an Associates of Science degree in Early Childhood and Education. All the while attending various spiritual development and religious studies classes from prominent scholars in the Bay Area, California.
I started as a preschool teacher at a homeschooling co-op 12 years ago teaching my son along with other preschool aged kids. The more I learned the more I realized the urgent need for developmentally appropriate practice in preschool programs.
In addition to preschool, I've taught elementary grades as well. I have loved every second of connecting with my students and their families in my community! Now, I get to teach YOUR child online! I can't wait!!
Urdu Bilingual Preschool Online!
Research shows that learning a second language boosts problem-solving, critical thinking, and listening skills, in addition to improving memory, concentration, and the ability to multitask. Children proficient in other languages also show signs of enhanced creativity and mental flexibility.

On preschool days, your child will enjoy learning from an actual preschool teacher (that's ME!) for 45 minutes in the morning/afternoon sessions ... AND your child will have a blast talking to me and his or her friends!
For 25 minutes each class day:
Your child will love spending time with his or her friends learning from an actual preschool teacher (that's ME)!
- Greetings and Quran Recitation: 5 minutes
- ​Calendar, songs and movement: 10 minutes
- ​Storytime and Lesson: 10 minutes
For 20 minutes each class day:
Your child will have a blast talking to, hanging out, and playing with me as well as 9 other preschool friends.
- Hands-on Activity: 10 minutes
- Sharing/Show and Tell: 5 minutes
- Questions and Answers: 5 minutes

At our preschool, we deliver a faith based emergent Preschool Curriculum, using activity-based learning with developmentally appropriate practices that will prepare your child for kindergarten in as less than an hour each day! There's no need for you to supplement curriculum at home!
You can choose 4 days/week Poppies Program on Mondays through Thursdays mornings only or afternoons only. This program covers Calendar and Songs, quality books for Read Alouds, Art Activities, Discussions, and Physical Activity. The best part?

We Offer Urdu Lessons, Quran and Islamic Studies!
CHOOSE YOUR PROGRAM
You can choose 4 days/week Monday through Thursday for the Poppies OR Bloom Sessions. The Poppies Session would introduce children to the letters of the Urdu Letters and Phrases. The Bloom Sessions will introduce children to Arabic Letters as Children learn to recite Qaidah Nooraniah, and memorize short surahs. These are Quran and Islamic Studies (QIS) focused Sessions. Children will listen to a mix of contemporary, Seerah, and Quran Stories. You may also choose the Poppies AND Bloom Monday through Thursday Program in a special combo Golden Program price package.

- Do parents have to be present? No. You do, however, need to log your child into the online classroom at the start of each class (have their activity tray set-up, ready for the kids to use), but then you can either stay or do other things you need to do. Please ensure there's no background noise and familiarize your child with the mute/unmute button.
- ​Do parents have to print things off or help outside of preschool class? Yes at times. Our curriculum is designed to be hands-on (& worksheets) and self-contained within our preschool class timings each day. Parents are responsible to have the children's activity materials ready on a tray/table accessible for children and any required printable ahead of time as per the student's extended learning needs.
- ​Do parents have to buy art materials? Yes.
- ​Are there other costs besides my monthly tuition? No, with the exception of a one-time registration fee of $100. There are no other costs required to participate.
- ​Is this an online "learning" video game or worksheet website? There is NO video game and YES there are worksheet components in our online preschool program. However, we prioritize just real, social interaction between an amazing preschool teacher (that's ME!) and a small class of amazing preschool friends. Worksheets are provided as extra resources for children to extend the lessons learned during class time or based on individual learners' needs.
- ​What's the difference between your online preschool and Hooked on Phonics or ABC Mouse? The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests that preschoolers have no more than 1 hour of screen time. Would you prefer your child used that hour on high-intensity video games or on face-to-face social interactions to prepare your child in EVERY WAY to develop spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and linguistically? I believe preschool is a hands-on experience, and playing video games to "learn" isn't how we do things at online preschool.
- ​What if my child is shy, active, loud, crazy, etc.? After over 12 years of teaching, I think I've seen just about every type of child there is. I'm excited to teach your child and help him or her have a wonderful experience!
- ​What requirements do I need to participate? You'll need internet and a laptop or desktop computer in a designated learning space. We highly encourage you to NOT use an iPad or a phone. We don't recommend it because children need their hands free to do the activities. Additionally, it's too hard to see everyone's faces and actually socialize with them.
- ​What platform is this using? We use Zoom, a free platform. The links we use to join our online classroom are exclusive to our preschool families so no one else can access the online classroom. Plus, our online classroom is monitored by a teacher (that's ME!) at all times when in use.
- ​I miss the friends I had with my child's local preschool. Can I connect with preschool parents in my child's preschool class? Absolutely! After signing up, you'll join our private Facebook group of amazing preschool families. We're super supportive and excited to have you join us!
